Beauty Hacks 101 - Tweezerfile
**Disclaimer: This post contains products that were kindly gifted for the purpose of review and are therefore listed as an unpaid advertisement. All opinions are my own**
It's 2021, we are still in lockdown and with everything closed here in the UK, we have spent a lot of time over the past year trying to find ways to maintain our beauty routines without being able to go to a beauty therapist for our regular treatments. With that comes the development of useful beauty hacks to make life a little easier and one of them is Tweezerfile. I have to admit, I have never considered the fact that tweezers can go dull or that you can file them to bring them back to life. If they stop working you just get a new pair right? Now obviously that way of thinking is wasteful and definitely not environmentally friendly. So Tweezerfile seems like the perfect solution! But why has nobody thought of it before? I caught up with founder Lucy Zender to find out more. Let's meet Lucy!

Review: Peeling Marin Treatment at Moorhall Hotel & Spa + Thalgo Aftercare
**Disclaimer: This post contains products that were kindly gifted for the purpose of review and are therefore listed as an unpaid advertisement. All opinions are my own**
Earlier this year (before lockdown!), I was invited by Moorhall Hotel & Spa in Sutton Coldfield to come in for the Thalgo Peeling Marin Treatment. A set of three exfoliating sessions that claims to give you that "new skin effect" visible from the first treatment. Now that is a strong claim to make so of course, I had to check it out! Did the treatments and aftercare live up to their promise? Read on and find out.

Review: African Extracts
The world of skincare is constantly evolving. It is hard to keep up sometimes because there are so many brands and so many products are being released every single week. What I have found in my skincare journey though is that you really get to know your own skin, what works and more importantly what does not work. Now this is different for each individual, let's be clear on that. What does not work for me, might still work for you and vice versa. I have never been one to follow trends to be honest, but one thing I have been intrigued by is the incorporation of Rooibos into skincare products. I have seen this pop up quite a few times recently so when I was contacted by African Extracts, a brand that uses Bio-Active Rooibos extract as their main ingredient, I was eager to learn more. I have been using a range of products from African Extracts for over a month now, so time to share some thoughts!

4 Ways To Look Cute During Lockdown
**Disclaimer: This post contains products that were kindly gifted for the purpose of review and are therefore listed as an unpaid advertisement. All opinions are my own**
Welcome to week...oh whatever, I can't even remember how many weeks it has been since the start of lockdown. But here in the UK we are still spending most of our time at home (which is a good thing in my opinion if we want to get rid of good old Corona..) so I figured it was about time I shared some looks with you and some tips to look cute even though we're not going anywhere. Just a few things from Femme Luxe Finery that have really helped me feel a little more normal on a daily basis. Femme Luxe Finery is a super cute online shop that sells clothing, shoes and accessories that are all totally Insta-worthy yet so comfortable. I know, that sounds perfect right?! They have kindly gifted me a few pieces so let me show you what items I've picked and how to style them.

Can One Test Give You A Full Skincare Routine?
**Disclaimer: This post contains products that were kindly sent to me for the purpose of review and are therefore listed as an advertisement. All opinions are my own**
Skincare. I think most of us know by now that some sort of skincare routine is essential to keep your skin looking the best it can. But how do you know what to use? There are so many things to choose from and unless you're reasonably clued up on how skincare ingredients work and more importantly what it is your skin needs, it can be quite overwhelming. Sure, you can go visit a beauty therapist who can analyse your skin. But what if there was a simple test you could do from the comfort of your own home that analyses your skin and gives you tailored recommendations on what products to use in just 20 minutes? Hard to believe right? In this post I am reviewing the Hauto Self Skin Test. Is it all that it promises? Read on and find out.

An Evening With Carrie Gross CEO Of Dr Dennis Gross Skincare + New Launch!
**Disclaimer: I was kindly invited to the Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare press evening at Selfridges Birmingham with no obligation to post. This post contains affiliate links**
Sometimes you have one of those days where you have a sudden change of plans. I have to admit, I am normally not great with sudden changes, but when you get invited to an evening of Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare with CEO Carrie Gross, you better clear your schedule! On the 30th of January I had the pleasure of learning all about the brand, a brand that is quite new to me as I had not tried their products, so I figured it would be the right thing to do to talk to you guys about Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare and share some information, so here we go.

How The Stylist Restival Helped Me Sleep Better
For as long as I can remember I have been a bad sleeper. My sleep is light and often interrupted by the slightest sound. Having a baby and snoring husband doesn't help either! Not getting enough sleep can have a massive impact on your physical and mental health. So when Stylist Magazine invited me to attend their first ever Restival event, I got excited and knew this one was for me. So on the 19th of January I made my way into London, to the Zedwell Hotel in Piccadilly. In this post I will talk you through my experiences and will share some interesting tips and tricks to help you sleep better. Interested? Well, read on my love!

Why Sugaring At Home Is Better Than Waxing
**Disclaimer: This post contains products that were kindly sent to me for the purpose of review and are therefore listed as an advertisement. All opinions are my own**
Oh hello there! I am finally treating you to the first blog post of 2020. It's about time, isn't it? Now before I fill you in on my 2019 beauty faves (I like to reflect in January), I wanted to share something else with you first. Something I've never really posted about before. I bet you're asking yourself what it could be, but it's probably nowhere near as interesting or exciting as what you are imagining right now! For me, the start of 2020 was marked as 'overcoming your fears', so I decided to take the plunge and sugar my armpits! What a weird thing to say, but let me explain.
When it comes to hair removal, I am all about waxing my legs. A few years ago, I decided to try and wax my armpits because otherwise you keep shaving every other day and it leaves that dark area that doesn't look nice etc. But boy, bad idea!! Oh my goodness, it was so painful and my skin was so red and almost bruised after that, that I didn't ever dare doing it again. Even the thought of it alone scared me, but then I learned about sugaring and decided to give it a go. But what is sugaring? Read all about it in this post and find out how I got on.

**Disclaimer: This post contains products that were kindly sent to me for the purpose of review and are therefore listed as an advertisement, aswell as products that were purchased by myself. All opinions are my own. All links in this post are affiliate links**
Cleansing balms. I absolutely love them! They are travel-friendly, melt makeup off like nothing else and isn't that smooth texture, that magically turns into an oil, just the most satisfying thing ever?! I'm all here for them and this winter, you should be too as indoor heating and the outdoor cold tend to dry out our skin. As there are many cleansing balms to choose from these days, I totally get it if you're feeling a little overwhelmed right now. That's why I am giving you my top 5 cleansing balms which will hopefully give you a good idea. Happy reading! 😊

Review: Victoria Beckham Beauty Lid Lustre
**This post contains affiliate links**
Victoria Beckham, in my book, is one of the most successful women in the UK. From the Spice Girls to her own fashion brand, from Estée Lauder to Victoria Beckham Beauty. That's right. Last September, Victoria Beckham Beauty finally launched. Starting off with four eyeshadow palettes, four eyeshadows and three eyeliners with lips to follow soon after. Is this just another mediocre brand attached to a famous face, or do the products really offer something worth buying? In this post I am reviewing two of the Lid Lustre single eyeshadows. Read on to see what it's all about.

The Inkey List: Affordable AND Effective?
**Disclaimer: This post contains products that were kindly sent to me for the purpose of review and are therefore listed as an advertisement. All opinions are my own**
I don't think it's a secret that most of us want great skin without any blemishes, full of radiance and perhaps minimal signs of ageing. But with such an enormous amount of products out there, I find that skincare, and finding a routine that works for you, can be at times very overwhelming. Perhaps you're not sure where to start. Relatively new brand The Inkey List have addressed the issue and are keeping things simple, from their packaging to the products. Their motto:
"Quality ingredients made simple"
They have taken 15 of the most wanted and potent ingredients in skincare, with the aim to make them accessable and affordable. But does making them affordable mean that the quality suffers or have they really hit a gap in the market, proving that great skincare doesn't have to break the bank? I tested out four of their products, so let's read on and find out.

Revlon Candid: The Next Best Thing in Drugstore Makeup?
**Disclaimer: The products in this post were kindly sent to me for the purpose of review and are therefore listed as an advertisement. All opinions are my own**
When it comes to my base, I am quite picky. Having combination skin with an oily T-zone, but dehydrated and sensitive cheeks can make it hard to find a foundation that works for both. One brand that I have been very impressed with is Revlon. For years my daily go-to foundation has been the Colorstay for combination/oily skin. It's not too heavy, has a great semi-matte finish and lasts all day. So when I found out Revlon were releasing the new Photoready Candid range that focuses on anti-pollution I was intrigued and had to try it! Does it live up to Colorstay? Read on and find out.

How To Get Fuller Lips Without Injections - Review and Giveaway
**Disclaimer: The products in this post were kindly sent to me for the purpose of review and are therefore listed as an advertisement. All opinions are my own**
Lip fillers, Botox and other cosmetic procedures. It's all an option these days and when it comes to using treatments to fight ageing and look younger, the world really is your oyster. These treatments do come at a cost though, and not everyone is keen on seeing that needle. Yet, the pressure of looking a certain way is very real and is heavily influenced by celebrities and social media. But do we have a choice to do it differently? Does not wanting that needle mean you won't be able to have fuller lips? Or are there alternatives? In this post I am reviewing the CODE SSL Soft Smooth Lip Liner and CODE LIP Lip Intense Plumper by Code Beautiful. Do they work? Read on and find out!

I can't believe you are charging for cabin luggage!), travel-friendly beauty is a must. Trinny London does not only satisfy your need for mini's, they are stackable too! Review: Blink Brow Bar Shape and Tint
**Disclaimer: The products and services in this post were kindly gifted for the purpose of review and are therefore listed as an unpaid advertisement. All opinions are my own**
Brows, most of us have them and they come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. From the thin, overplucked ones I've seen growing up, to the fuller, bushy brows we are seeing today. One thing is clear, brows form the frame of our faces so taking care of them and making them look the best they can be is key. Now like me, you can choose to do this at home. However, getting them done at the salon is such a nice treat and nowadays there are so many amazing brow bars out there. So when Blink Brow Bar invited me to pop by their bar at Selfridges, Birmingham I couldn't say no! Curious to see what I got done and what services they offer? Read on and find out!
