See You at Midnight - Eye and Cheek Palette

OMG, I am so excited about the product I am about to review in this post! It is by far my best find yet, again at Poundland of all places! This post is all about the Eye and Cheek Palette - See You at Midnight from Sleek MakeUp.

Now, I have been living in the UK for almost 7 years and have actually never bought anything from Sleek MakeUp. One of my dear friends is absolutely addicted to this brand so when I saw this beauty I just had to try it and share it with you.

See You at Midnight is shade 028 of the Eye and Cheek Palette range and contains 4 shades of eye shadow and 2 blushers. They come in a useful, small size box with two handy little tools.

The four shades of eye shadow include a golden colour, a brown shade with silver glitter particles, a metallic deep purple and a metallic midnight blue. The blushers are a bold pink and a more neutral dark nude colour. On my fingers these colours look quite pigmented but when you apply them they are actually not too dark and can be built up by adding more layers. You can make it as light or dark as you want really.

To give you a little idea of possible looks, I have tried a golden base with blue towards the outer corner of my eye and in the crease. My example is not as dramatic as some people might like but hopefully useful either way :)

So what do I think of this palette?
I think this palette is absolutely great. The colours are amazing and are very well pigmented. Both the eye shadows as well as the blushers apply easily and the best thing is, the colours can be applied very lightly for a more natural look or built up for a more dramatic look.

I love the texture of the palette - they feel almost a bit clay-like which means no powdery and cakey finish and no crumbling onto the rest of your face. A big plus! I will definitely use this palette.

I would love to hear about your Sleek MakeUp experience so leave a comment below!
